Backpack Snack Ministry
The Builder's Sunday School Class coordinates the Backpack Snack Ministry for First Baptist. They work with the School Resource Center to provide weekend food for children in special needs. This past year you have ministered to about 50 children each week during our two months of the school year.We want to thank the many who furnished food items and helped to pack the Backpacks this year.Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
M & M Food Pantry
First Baptist supports the M & M Food Pantry with donations throughout the year. A tub is located in the lobby for your donations.
Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes
The First Baptist goal for 2010 was 125. You brought 194 shoeboxes for the Samaritan's Purse Ministry. WOW!
Mitten and Glove Tree
The Senior Adult Ministry has promoted this annual drive for the benefits of students in Montgomery County.
Angel Tree
Several classes and individuals have participated in the Angel Tree ministry. Our youth prepared four angel tree gifts this year.
Coats for Local Students
The Middle School Sunday School has assumed the project of collecting coats for students. Your clean coats/jackets will be greatly appreciated.
